Jaanki's POV
" I'm Jaanki Surya Prakash Jadega, " I introduced myself to the man opposite me. The person who I'm on a date with. My first date to be more specific and an unwanted one.
Surprisingly, he was hotter than I expected, the kind of hot which makes you sweat. And for some reason I was happy to be here. I mean who wouldn't want to go on a date with a Greek God.
He was wearing a three piece suit with two buttons open revealing his tan, muscular body. The long hair was tied in a man bun making him look really sexy.
No, Jaanki Don't be dumb. Focus, no boys. That's the rule. You've to spoil Baba's plan and end this date in your way.
"Omkara Thakur," he said in his rough manly voice.
I smiled with a nod but stopped when the name hit me. This name sounds familiar. But I couldn't point properly, that's when my eye narrowed on the faint scar across one side of his face. There is only one person I know who has that scar.
How can I forget about him?
The man who pays price for even smiling.
" Omkara, oh my god! I didn't recognise you for a moment," I chuckled but my smile flattered down when the response he gave was a blank face. " I mean you've changed alot since the last time I saw you. "
The last time being around 8 years. He was my senior in school by 4 years. The guy I saw last time was thinner with shorter hair but with the same expressionless face. I waited for his reply and awkwardly looked around the restaurant.
Still he continued to type on his phone not even noticing me.
Am I not beautiful?
Yes, you're. The most beautiful girl in India. My inner girl motivated me.
Then why is he not noticing me. Did I dress to simple? Maybe I should have done some makeup to impress him. He must be expecting some dressed up girl.
But why am I worrying about it?
I should be happy, that he's doing exactly what I wanted. And I don't even have to try to make him reject me.
"Let's order something." I suggested.
I was getting extremely hungry as I had skipped breakfast and this man was just not responding to anything.
"Actually I have a meeting so I'll have to leave," he said getting up.
Getting on my feet I just nodded awkwardly. He was straight away rude. I mean it's more than fine if he doesn't want to spend time with me but at least he could be more respectful. At least he could have ordered some food for me.
"So, I guess you're also not interested in this relationship," I forced out a chuckle to make the situation less awkward but it didn't seem to work.
He eyed me for few seconds before replying," My father forced me. You don't have to worry about answering your dad, I'll reply to him."
I pressed my lips together to hide a smile threatening to come. Actually I was delighted by his response.
Jaanki:01, Baba:00
My feet wouldn't stop moving as I danced a little while walking towards my bodyguard.
Just like expected he stood there with arm crossed and a boring expression on his face. He frowned slightly seeing my happy face as since the morning I had not responded to him at all.
I just wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. And I was scared that my nervousness will turn into anger and I might be little too rude.
He opened the door for passenger seat for me and then took his seat at driving.
"That guy was so rude." I scowled while crossing my arms. " I mean he didn't even try to talk just down right and said that he's going to say no to my dad. "
"Are you complaining that he rejected you?" he asked.
"No, I'm actually happy. I don't want to spend my life with a rude guy like him. I pity the girl who'll marry him," I spoke and then the point of rejection crossed my mind. "He didn't reject me, I rejected him. If I would have tried then there is no way he would have said no."
Turning towards him I noticed him holding back a smile. I let out a huff and looked out.
It's no use to talk with him. He'll just find a way to make fun of me.
"Why did you stop here?" He had stopped the car at some restaurant instead of taking me home
Instead of replying he got out and came to my side. I got out and started following him inside and asked him again but he ignored me and took out a chair for me to sit on.
I sat on it not wanting to create a scene, I just hoped that no one would recognise me.
"Why are we here?" I whisper-yelled at him.
He carelessly took a seat in front of me. And started rolling his sleeves. It was such a small act but it did something in my stomach. I gulped and looked away.
Those damn veiny arms.
Why does he have to be so hot? Can't I just have a normal looking bodyguard? How am I suppose to control myself around such a good-looking guy?
"2 samosa chaat and 2 lassi," he ordered as the waiter came.
I looked around and noticed that it's the first time I been to such place. It wasn't a fancy restaurant, just a normal place to eat.
Being a Princess I haven't really been to any such place but I didn't say anything as he might think of me as uptight. Not like he has any good thoughts about me.
"Don't worry," he broke my thoughts. " I have been here before. Their food is hygienic."
Nodding my head I just rubbed my arms. I was too hungry to really care about anything.
Everything is fine until it doesn't get me hospitalised.
My mouth watered seeing the tray of food. Without waiting for anything I started devouring it. I heard his deep chuckle as I took the extra big bite.
"This is so tasty," I mumbled while taking another bite.
As I saw him eating I couldn't help but smile with him. He looked less annoying with that smile. Why can't he just smile more?
"You should smile more," the words left my mouth without my will and that evil smirk started appearing on his face. " At least your smile is better than that smirk you always do, it makes you look horrible. "
He sat in his glory and placed an arm over the back of the chair," There is nothing which can make me look horrible. "
I rolled my eyes at his narcissism, " You're so full of yourself. "
He chuckled and grabbed his samosa and started eating it. " Don't you think we should get to know each other?"
" Why? It's not like we're on a date. "
" For you. " He mumbled while eating another bite. " But I'm your bodyguard so I need to know about you… to protect you better. "
My frown deepened as he continued rambling. " What do you want to know?"
" What's your favourite colour?"
" How would that help you in protecting me?"
" I-it will …" he shuttered. " Just tell me."
I replied with a sigh," Brown. "
He nodded with a smile. " Won't you ask mine?" I opened my mouth but he won. " My favourite colour is Pink. "
" Pink? " I asked in shock. " Your favourite colour is Pink?"
He nodded, taking the final bite of his food. " I love everything that is pink. It's such a bright and beautiful colour. Sometimes I wish I was born in Barbie world. "
That was something unexpected, I couldn't stop smiling at his answer. I knew it was rude of me to judge him , no I wasn't judging him but this is the first time I have heard a man having pink as their favourite colour. Most of the guys like black or blue or grey.
But Raghav seems different.
" Then your wardrobe must be looking like Barbie.." he laughed and shook his head.
" No. My wardrobe is restricted to only three colours: Black, White and Grey. "
"Why?"
His smile flattered for a moment," That's a story for another day. Your favourite movie?"
" Dilwale dulhania le jayenge!" I replied without waiting for a second. His eyes widened in shock before he laughed in amusement, I sat straight on my chair and stared at my half-finished plate in embarrassment. Maybe I answered too loudly.
" Wow! That was surprising, Jaan. " I narrowed my eyes on him. " I mean Jaan-ki, I really didn't expect you to be a fan of DDLJ. I thought you'll have things for periodic movies like Padmavat or Jodha Akbar, you know the royal romance. "
" Ha Ha! Very funny. But I'm not. " Just because I'm a Princess doesn't mean I like everything Royal. " I like romantic movies and I love Shahrukh Khan. That movie has raised my expectations for my future partner. "
He nodded with a tight smile before throwing his next question," So Princess? If you had to marry someone boy , whom you love, against your father's will then would you?"
That was an easy question and the answer was pretty clear in my mind.
" No. Never. I would never choose any man over my father. "
" But what if he loves you more than your father and he's ready to burn the whole world for you?" Raghav leaned while placing his arm on the table.
I smiled slightly," That's not what I want?"
"What does that mean?" He frowned.
" That means that I don't want a man to love me more than my father, they are two different people and their love will be different. I'm not going to compare their love and effort towards me. And I really don't want a man to burn the world for me, that's just… I don't want that," I tried my best to explain to him.
But he still didn't seem satisfied by my reply. " Then what do you want?"
I released a breath and tapped my feet.
" I've heard stories about my parents- their beautiful love. Their story is like some fairytale, just magical. I want to experience that and if a man can love me more than my Baba loves my Ma," I paused before smirking back. " Then I'll go against the whole world for him. "

" So how was your first date?" Shravani nudged my shoulder. " You went with the hottest and scariest men of Satviki Kul, the great Omkara Thakur!"
I rolled my eyes at her drama and slapped her hands which were widely open in the air," Stop exaggerating. He's not that hot or scary. "
He is hot but I'm not going to admit it, not after he straight away rejected me. And he hasn't done anything scary or made me feel scared.
" Why? Don't tell me you rejected that Hot Hunk? JJ, I've seen that man only once but God he's so damn sexy. How can you say no to him??"
That's the point, I can't reject a man like him. I mean I can reject him but I didn't. I got a little late and he rejected me.
But there is no way I can reveal that to her, so I just shrugged," SS , you know I'm not really interested in any man right now. So… I couldn't say yes to him."
She nodded and then stared besides me. " So I guess that little monster will be the only man in your life. "
I smiled looking at Guddu and massaged his head.
" For now? Yes. But for the future? Let's see. "
" Actually.. " I stared back at her and waited for her to continue. " There is another man in your life. . . " She again paused to make me impatient. " Your bodyguard!"
I sighed and shook my head. " You idiot!" I hit her with the pillow lying beside me.
" Okay okay. I'm sorry. " She laughed. " But tell me seriously, how is he? Are you getting use to him?"
I nodded my head," Raghav is not that bad. He's kinda nice…. I think I like him. "
" Oh my god! " She shouted and immediately got up on her knees. That's when I realised what I said and instantly regretted the slip of my tongue. " JJ likes Raghav. The breaking news!"
I caught her wrist and pulled her back in sitting position, she landed on my lap making me hiss in pain. To stop her rubbish talk I had to place my hand over her mouth.
" I meant as Bodyguard. I like him as bodyguard, that's it, nothing more. You're getting it all wrong," I desperately said.
She laughed and sat away from her," No no no, I'm not taking your excuses. Dil ki baat zubaan pe aa hi gayi. You like him. " She looked at Guddu and said. " Buddy, you're getting competition. You'll have to share her attention from now on. "
" Shut up!" I took Guddu in my arms and cuddled tightly. " My baby will always have my undivided attention. "
" We'll see. " Shravani smirked.

Third person POV
Omkara Thakur sat in his office waiting for the person who wanted to meet with him so eagerly. Finally the person entered.
"I'm Laksh. Laksh Tripathi," he said with a smile.
Omkara just nodded his head and motioned him to take a seat before crossing his arms and leaning back on the chair. That small action made him look intimidating and sweat beads formed on Laksh's forehead. Maybe it was a bad decision to come here.
Laksh took a deep breath and started his talk straight away," I know about your idea of separating your company from your father, Ahlawat Thakur."
He just looked straight without showing any movement which confused Laksh. It was a secret that nobody knew, Omkara was supposed to be threatened by it but the man in front of him didn't even blink . After not getting any desired reply laksh continued his talk.
"You're the one handling everything and doing most of the work still your father gets all the profit and credits. And not to forget about all his dirty works which are affecting the growth of your company."
Still that stoned faced man had no expression on his face , laksh licked his lips. He wasn't expecting him to be this tough.
" We both have the same aim. To remove Ahlawat Thakur from the position of CEO. So, why don't we join hands together?" he offered.
Omkara leaned back on his chair and asked," Why should I trust you?"
Laksh took a file and forwarded it to him. Omkara started reading it and realised that whatever he just said is true. If they worked together then it'll be possible to eliminate his father. The thing he has wanted to do for years. Finally he can get his revenge.
Closing the file he looked at Laksh," What do I have to do?"
Laksh finally sighed and looked at him with a smile," Nothing much. Just do as The Wolf tells you to. "
" That's where you are wrong, Mr. Tripathi. " Omkara stood up while buttoning his jacket and hovering over him. Laksh has never felt this small in his entire life. " I'm doing this because I don't want to work beneath anyone. Tell your Wolf if he wants my help then we'll work together, there is no way I'll work for him. "
Taking his files Laksh walked out of the office and saw Omkara walking away, he turned towards the guard smiling at him. " Guess our boss scared you too. "
" What scared? I'm not scared of him" laksh shook his hands but the guard kept laughing. " What is your boss made of?"
The guard chuckled and replied," You work for that Wolf right?" Laksh nodded. " Then tell him to be careful of our Thakur because he might be the Wolf but Omkara is The Lion, with one move he'll knock down your Wolf. "

" How was the meeting?" Raghav asked as soon as Laksh answered his call.
" Phew, that man is so tough. But everything went according to plan. Now you just have to give your next order. " Laksh replied and turned towards Robin who was working on laptop.
Shaking his head he got up and moved towards the younger boy.
" Just give me few days to get everything ready. " Raghav said.
Laksh sighed on the other end while making Robin wear his glasses. " Raghu, Don't you think it's risky? People might investigate you, you know how dangerous it is for the business right?"
" I know. " He sighed. " I'll be careful. "
" Is anyone suspicious of you? Mr. Jadeja? Or that Princess?"
" Not yet. Mr. Jadeja doesn't seem to have any worries with me and Princess …." He smiled just thinking about her. " She's also fine. "
" Raghu, " Laksh said in warning. " You're not getting distracted are you? "
Raghav came back into his senses and tried to get rid of Jaanki's thoughts. " The only thing I care about is taking my revenge and no one can distract me from that. "
Laksh grumbled in response," I wish someone could. You know there is still a chance that we can back away. "
" Bye, Laksh. " Raghav ended the call before he could complete.
Laksh smirked and turned towards Robin who was eyeing him. " Something big is going to happen. "
" I'm getting a little nervous," Robin bit his lip.
The moment they chose Robin the first fight started between Raghav and Laksh. Laksh never approved of having a teenager in their team. That bubbly, too smart for his own good boy has no idea of the real world. He's doing hacking for fun but now that real fight is starting he's understanding the severe effects.
Laksh knows that he can't get rid of Robin now because even if he doesn't want to admit it they need him.
" Hey, don't be scared, Rob," Laksh ruffled his curls. " No matter what happens, I'll not let anything happen to you. "
